VIDEOR Takes Early Action to Meet New Requirements

The European Union’s Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) introduces a new legal framework designed to strengthen the cybersecurity of products with digital elements. Most of its provisions will apply from 11 December 2027, while certain manufacturer reporting obligations relating to actively exploited vulnerabilities and severe security incidents have already been in effect since 11 September 2026.
VIDEOR is taking early action to address the requirements relevant to its business – both as a distributor and as the manufacturer of its own brands eneo, SOLVIDO and jetrics. As part of this process, we are reviewing our existing procedures and adapting them step by step to meet the new requirements.
An important part of these efforts is providing clear and accessible channels for reporting security concerns. Our websites therefore feature dedicated reporting pages where customers, partners, security researchers and other parties can notify VIDEOR of potential vulnerabilities or security incidents.
These pages provide a direct channel for submitting security-related information to VIDEOR. Where the conditions set out in the CRA are met, any statutory notifications that VIDEOR is required to submit in its capacity as a manufacturer will be made to the relevant authorities via the designated European reporting infrastructure.
