Certified Quality
Customer satisfaction is our top priority. And clearly this has a major impact on the operations structured within our company. High reliability can only be achieved when processes are implemented by precisely specified operations. This covers orders, repairs, product inclusion in our portfolio, and inspections of incoming goods right up to dispatch of the customer magazine. Strategic forward-looking planning of our requirements and system adjustments are also included in our quality management targets.We were certified compliant with DIN ISO 9002 as long ago as 1994, certification compliant with EN ISO 9001:2000 followed in 2002 and this was renewed in July 2008. Finally, in May 2009 we were certified compliant with EN ISO 9001:2008. Strict adherence to the high requirements set by the ISO standards is ensured every three years by external auditors from an international and independent auditing company.
From 12th March 2009 we shall also be accredited with the status of being an Authorised Economic Operator (AEO). The Customs authorities introduced this certification throughout Europe last year and it is an important step with respect to risk management in global trade. It guarantees security of the international supply chain from the manufacturer, through the distributor right up to the end customer. The granting of this status is based upon fulfilment of extensive qualifying conditions with regard to reliability, financial solvency, previous compliance with relevant legal regulations as well as the fulfilment of specific security standards if applicable.
