Lenses from our Imaging section are made especially for use in industrial image processing. Additionally, we offer an even large choice of lenses from our Security and Broadcast sections, which can also be used in image processing according to the specific requirements.
Lenses with fixed focal length
Not mere fixtures, rather those lenses we mostly hold on stock in our central warehouse in Rödermark give you a large choice of fixed focal length lenses for standard image processing applications, and they are ready for delivery to you. A large number of lenses with extremely different features is required in each of our three business segments of Security, Broadcast and Imaging, though we obtain the majority of them directly from the same supplier in the Far East, first and foremost are Tamron, Fujinon and Kowa. Our high throughput and purchasing directly from the manufacturer means we achieve the best buying conditions, and of course we pass this on to our customers.
Characteristics and criteria
For standard applications with camera sensor up to approximately one megapixel we offer the high-resolution series from Tamron, Fujinon and eneo. In the megapixel range, Tamron has the Machine Vision Series specialising in sensor sizes up to 1/1.8” and sizes up to 2/3”, Fujinon offers a full range of megapixel lenses for sensor sizes up to 2/3”, just like eneo. Kowa is the only manufacturer to specify its megapixel family for sensor resolutions up to ten megapixels. The choice of the right lens seems difficult at first glance. But once the resolution and camera sensor size are known, there are only a few more factors that could play a part in the making the selection. These are mostly still the installation size, price and MOD. When it comes to the MOD, the minimum object distance, the differences between the single lenses are somewhat greater, the installation size and price can also be decisive criteria.
Macro, varifocal and zoom lenses
We offer a small choice of lenses for the imaging area in this field. Ask us when you need something special. In many cases we can count on our extensive product range in the Security or Broadcast area, or we can approach our suppliers on your behalf when you have a particular requirement: we do not always list all of the lenses offered by our suppliers.
